ICG Italia Wins Best Exhibit Award At BDNY 2025

ICG Italia, the U.S. division of the Italian Iris Ceramica Group and a global leader in high-tech porcelain and ceramic surfaces, is proud to announce that its booth at Boutique Design New York (BDNY) has been honored with the Best Exhibit Award, recognizing outstanding creativity and innovation in display design.

This prestigious award underscores ICG Italia’s commitment to sustainability, design excellence, and technological innovation. The BDNY booth was a consolidated version of the HD Expo booth showcased in May 2025, scaled from 40”x20” to 20”x20”, and constructed entirely with ATTRACT, the company’s proprietary magnetic system. ATTRACT enables ceramic slabs to be reused an infinite number of times, replacing single-use logic with the far-sighted choice of reusability. By minimizing waste and supporting a circular economy approach—a core value of Iris Ceramica Group—this sustainable initiative was central to the storytelling of the exhibit, demonstrating how design and responsibility can coexist beautifully.

Within the booth, visitors experienced four of ICG Italia’s most advanced technological innovations: ATTRACT, the magnetic system that enables reusable installations and supports circular economy principles; 4D Ceramics, an evolution of porcelain that introduces a “fourth dimension” by extending veining and design seamlessly through the entire thickness of the slab, creating extraordinary visual continuity and durability while leveraging sustainable production powered by green hydrogen; DYS (Design Your Slab), a customizable digital decoration technology that allows for unique, personalized surfaces; and Full Body, a high-performance porcelain solution offering consistent materiality throughout for an aesthetic touch that replicates the depth and character of natural stone with striking realism. At the center of the exhibit, ICG Italia also showcased Hypertouch®, a patented, integrated smart surface technology that allows users to control lighting and other connected systems through a simple touch on the ceramic slab—merging design with interactivity.

These innovations were showcased alongside ICG Italia’s premium porcelain and ceramic solutions, such as Onice Rosa, Palissandro Blue, Ocean Storm, Tribute 100, Theke Trame, Fior Di Viola, and Bottega D’Arte Terrelucide, designed to elevate architectural and interior projects for hospitality, commercial, and high-end residential spaces. By integrating cutting-edge technology with sustainable practices, ICG Italia continues to redefine what is possible in surface design.
